Verdict
Clive Brittain rarely runs one here unless he thinks he has a chance of taking home some prize money and it's significant that his MANOMINE is back on a winning mark. The four-year-old couldn't justify favouritism over further here in November but wasn't beaten far and the drop in distance could see him back in the winner's enclosure. There are four previous course and distance winners in opposition, however, so it won't be easy. David Evans' team is going well and Honey Of A Kitten showed a bit more last time but Titan Triumph and Crowning Star have been below par lately and this may be too tough for Mafi. But Ellie In The Pink and Zaheeb have both been placed recently and aren't without a chance.
