Verdict
WHIPPER SNAPPER returned to action with a respectable second at Lingfield last month. Bill Knight's charge is capable of better given the evidence of his earlier form on Turf and looks to have a good opportunity in this company. Compton Silver posted a couple of decent efforts at Wolverhampton but his form has taken a dip at this track recently while the remainder have shown nothing to recommend them so far. Upavon is worth noting but fellow newcomer Master Wizard makes more appeal as he's a half-brother to a couple of winners on the all-weather.
