Verdict
Petrarchick bids to follow up her recent Bangor win off a 6lb higher mark while Sacco D'Oro has been threatening to win a race like this for a while and looks certain to be in the firing-line again. Mezarat looks worth another try over a longer trip while chaser Gougane was taking on better opposition at Taunton last time and Performance Review has claims if reproducing his second at Newton Abbot in September. TOPENHALL wasn't beaten far over a shorter trip at Huntingdon last month and has been dropped a couple of pounds since. He's unlikely to be improving at the age of 11 but is well treated on the pick of his recent form and should play a part here as long as the ground doesn't deteriorate. The returning Set In Her Ways would also be worth a second look if the market spoke in her favour but The Ferick is proving a big disappointment.
