Verdict

Jim Goldie has won this twice in the last four years but Yourlookinathim hasn't done enough to justify a rating of 99, which gets him top weight here. SEE THE LEGEND was beaten a short-head in this a year ago from a 6lb higher mark but hardly picked his feet up subsequently until a better effort last time at Kelso. A repeat of that effort can see him take this as Academy, who ran well at Musselburgh on New Year's Day, was racing over the minimum trip and he's yet to prove he stays this far. All For A Buzz showed a bit of promise in bumpers but has been well beaten in all three starts over timber.
