In depth
Verdict
Flashlight has shown plenty of pace in three starts over 7f and makes more appeal than Mar Mar dropping back in trip. The latter's stablemate, Future Reference, may well figure on his Turf debut while improvement is expected from the likes of Bapak Muda and Whiskeymack. Tanawar is worth noting on his racecourse debut as is the 180,000gns filly Sensiz, a half-sister to a Listed winner. But, a chance is taken on another newcomer in CAPE PERON as Henry Candy's yard has won this race twice in recent years and the booking of Richard Hughes takes the eye.
