Verdict
LIFE AND SOUL won three times on the Flat up to 1m4f. He's joined Donald McCain's yard and looks a useful recruit to hurdling and is fancied to get the better of another newcomer, Sea Lord, who won a Group 3 in 2010 for Godolphin but may have stamina limitations over the trip on soft ground, though John Ferguson has done well with similar types this winter. Kealshore Again won at Hexham in November but was well beaten in an Aintree handicap next time while Only Orsenfoolsies could only stay on at the one pace when second to Hidden Justice at Wetherby, though should step up on that here. The others have a bit to prove.
