Verdict
The consistent QUADDICK LAKE has the best form coming into this. Placed once again at Taunton last month, today's soft ground is not ideal but he may get away with it given the paucity of the opposition. Jive Master was runner-up at Exeter last time and though that was back in April he's still preferred to Blue Blooded and Shropshirelass, both well beaten in more recent outings. Murcar ran well enough on his return to action at Ffos Las before fading badly in the closing stages and better is expected here.
