Verdict
Bangalore Diamond scrambled home over the C&D in July but it was no surprise that he couldn't cope with an 8lb rise at Bellewstown a month later. CHARISMAS BIRTHDAY gained her only success to date over this C&D in March but has been generally consistent and from a 5lb higher mark looks the one to beat. The veteran Mt Weather has run reasonably well here in the past but is seen as a specialist at Laytown and though Till Dawn ran well at Bath last time she's still a maiden after 23 starts. Cailin Coillteach has had 20 career starts, all but three of them here where she's won twice, while Dimitar made his handicap debut in February on a mark of 70 and he's down to 64 now despite running well so must be a threat even with his huge weight.
