Verdict
Front Rank is probably still capable of a prominent showing in this grade but fellow veteran WALTHAM ABBEY gets the vote. Lynsey Kendall's 11-year-old hasn't won for more than three years but was running well enough over the summer to suggest that a race like this should be within his range and he likes good ground. King Brex appears to have lost his way while Momkinzain is still a maiden and has two ways of running. Word Of Warning looks best of the rest but has been well below par this term.
