More than half of this field have an Epsom Derby entry, though none are prominent in the current ante-post market. Aidan O'Brien is chasing a fifth win in eight years and has two entries this year. Joseph rides Carlo Bugatti, who is tried in blinkers after only managing fourth in a Grade 3 at Navan on his reappearance, but we prefer stablemate ORCHESTRA. Ryan Moore has ridden the last three winners from Ballydoyle and this son of Galileo has a middle-distance pedigree, though he's a big colt so it will be interesting to see how he handles these sharp turns. Stars Over The Sea is useful but Romsdal needs to step up significantly from his maiden win while Seagull Star and Scotland look nothing special, though the latter did finish ahead of stablemate Belfilo at Newbury on his return to action.
Belfilo (IRE) 14-1 (8-10) Pushed along to lead over 8f out, clear 6f out, ridden over 3f out, rider dropped rein and headed over 1f out, weakened final furlong, 6th of 7, 16l behind Western Hymn (8-13) at Newbury 1m 2f con stks (3) gs in Apr.

Romsdal 1-3fav (8-8) Dwelt, soon tracked leaders, led over 2f out, soon clear, ran on strongly, won at Kempton 1m 3f mdn auc stks (6) pol in Apr beating Big Orange (8-8) by 5l, 7 ran.
Scotland (GER) 11-4 (9-1) Steadied start, in touch, headway over 2f out, ridden and kept on same pace final furlong, 4th of 7, 7l behind Western Hymn (8-13) at Newbury 1m 2f con stks (3) gs in Apr.

Festival Theatre (IRE) 7-4 (9-7) Edgy wore hood in prelims and sweating, held up 4th, pushed along and unable to quicken 2f out, ridden and beaten over 1f out, last of 4, 6l behind Anglo Irish (8-13) at Kempton 1m 4f 3yo hcp 0-90 (3) pol in Apr.
