Verdict
Nicky Henderson runs two here with Barry Geraghty choosing Ericht ahead of the mare Polly Peachum, who was very disappointing when favourite at Ludlow in December. The former won a jumpers' bumper at Kempton on his latest start but looks to have little chance of overturning earlier Newbury running with UXIZANDRE. Alan King's lightly-raced five-year-old couldn't quite get to grips with useful Flat performer Chiberta King that day but was clear second-best and may have too much pace for his rivals here. King Helissio needs to step up again on his Ludlow victory while Comeonginger may need more time and bumper winner Three Old Amigos lacks a recent run.
