Verdict
WHISPERING GALLERY is one of the most interesting newcomers of the season. A Listed winner on the Flat for Godolphin, he was last seen beating Opinion Poll in a Meydan handicap back in January 2011 before landing a Group 3 there a few weeks later. His trainer has an enviable strike-rate and the seven-year-old won't want for lack of fitness. He has to be the selection against otherwise moderate opposition though winning bumper Wake Your Dreams ran well enough on his hurdling debut at Bangor to suggest he can win races over timber. Goodtoknow looked ideally suited by testing conditions when ploughing through the mud to score at Towcester but he has to concede weight all round as a consequence. Arabian Heights was a decent performer on the level and will be better for his opening run over hurdles at Newbury.
