Verdict
Dirty Deal was held when left in the lead at Chepstow a year ago before a decent enough effort in a novices' handicap there in February. She hasn't run since and COOL TOUCH may have her measure provided the ground doesn't get any softer. He's been chasing and finished runner-up on three occasions but he's generally competed at a higher level over hurdles and this looks his chance. Dune Shine won a seller at Stratford in November before being tailed off in two handicaps. He's an obvious threat along with Maccabees, a winner on the Flat at Brighton in October when the ground was very testing and a close third in a three-year-old hurdle at Plumpton last month.
