Verdict
Ger Lyons won this a year ago and will be hoping that Marvelous James benefits from first-time blinkers after a poor effort at the Curragh which followed a very narrow defeat in a three-runner contest at Tipperary. Cool Metallic is also in first-time headgear and would be the form pick on his run behind Versilia Gal at Navan but that was over 6f and this will take some getting in the testing ground. Lucked Out should have no problems staying but FONTANA DI TREVI looks the one to be on. Andy Oliver's filly made a promising start over 6f at Navan and was going on at the finish when stepped up to 7f at Sligo and this should prove ideal.
