KATMAI RIVER went close at Wolverhampton last time having dropped 10lb in the weights since landing a double early in the season. Mark Usher's charge looks set for a return to winning ways. Warbond also finished a lot closer on his latest start but a poor strike rate of one win in 23 starts is off putting and Bussa makes more appeal on his latest close-up third at this track. Batchworth Firefly separated a couple of woeful efforts with a third over 6f here and may do better on his handicap debut if in the mood.
