JUST ONE KISS has been shrewdly campaigned this year. Left on the same mark after winning a maiden at this track last month, she's also unpenalised for following-up in an apprentice's race at Kempton last week. The hat-trick beckons for Lady Cecil's filly today. Both Flamborough Breeze and Club House look to be treading water off their current marks, but the same could have been said of Shaolin before he popped-up at Kempton last time. High Time Too could be more consistent but has a shout on December's second over track and trip while Captain Starlight is another to consider after a promising comeback at Kempton three weeks ago.
Captain Starlight (IRE) 10-1 (9-5) Tracked leader 1f, stayed tracking leaders, not clear run and switched left over 1f out, head high and ran on inside final furlong, not reach leaders, 4th of 9, 1 1/2l behind Diplomatic (9-3) at Kempton 1m hcp 0-75 (5) pol in Jan.
Club House (IRE) 20-1 (8-8) Slowly into stride, soon mid-division, not clear run well over 1f out, switched left and headway entering final furlong, ran on, unable to reach leaders, 4th of 10, 1/2l behind Wilfred Pickles (9-2) at Lingfield 1m hcp 0-75 (5) pol in Jan.
Shaolin (IRE) 5-1 (9-6) Held up in rear, headway over 1f out, ran on to lead inside final furlong, driven out, won at Kempton 7f hacp 0-70 (5) pol in Jan beating Fab Lolly (9-2) by nk, 14 ran.
Just One Kiss 11-10fav (9-7) Led 1f, tracked leader, led again 2f out, clear over 1f out, easily, won at Kempton 1m app hcp 0-75 (5) pol in Jan beating Emman Bee (8-2) by 2 3/4l, 11 ran.
Liberty Jack (IRE) 4-1 (9-6) Chased leaders, went 3rd 2f out, ridden and edged left over 1f out, weakened final furlong, 5th of 7, 7l behind Lexi's Hero (9-7) at Lingfield 6f hcp 0-75 (5) pol in Jan.
High Time Too (IRE) 8-1 (8-12) Prominent, took keen hold, ridden 2f out, one pace and no impression over 1f out, 5th of 10, 7l behind Modernism (9-2) at Wolverhampton 1m 1f hcp 0-85 (4) pol in Jan.
Fiducia 10-1 (8-8) Restrained start, in rear, headway over 1f out, chased winner inside final furlong, always held, 2nd of 6, 2 1/2l behind Flashlight (9-7) at Epsom Downs 7f 3yo hcp 0-80 (4) gd in Aug.
Flamborough Breeze 7-1 (9-1) Held up in touch, headway on inside over 2f out, disputing 2nd and every chance final 100 yards, kept on but not pace of winner, 2nd of 7, 1l behind Conversational (9-4) at Lingfield 1m fll hcp (0-75) (5) pol in Jan.
Peak Storm 10-1 (9-0) Chased leaders, ridden to challenge well over 1f out, soon weakened, 8th of 12, 4 1/2l behind Sardanapalus (9-1) at Beverley 7f hcp 0-75 (5) gf in Sep.
