Verdict
SAMENERVE didn't manage to win a race in France and pulled up on his UK debut at Exeter but it was a different story at Towcester last time where he jumped superbly and gained an easy victory. He's been put up 10lb for that but is still a youngster and there should be plenty more to come. He gets the nod ahead of Bertie Milan, who had shown very little before a fine run behind Oil Burner at Carlisle in October. Whats Up Woody didn't have much to beat when scoring at Carlisle though he had Papa Caruso behind and the latter needs to brush up on his jumping. Billy Cuckoo ran poorly at Market Rasen last time after looking a progressive type at Wetherby five days earlier and that latter race may have come too soon.
