Godolphin put the seal on a brilliant end to the year when Flashing won the Grade One Gazelle Stakes in America.
The three-year-old filly made all of the running under Richard Migliore to take the Aqueduct prize by a resounding four and a quarter lengths.
It was Flashing's second Grade One triumph of the year - and Godolphin's 13th top-level success of 2009.
Trainer Saeed bin Suroor told their website: "Flashing won easily. The filly has improved over time and this was her best performance ever.
"She won well. The nine furlongs was the perfect distance for her. We are going to talk it over and maybe she will race next year."
Migliore added: "When she gets comfortable and in a rhythm, she seems like she can run forever.
"I knew at the three-eighths pole she was going to be very tough.
"The two times I rode her on conventional dirt I won Grade Ones on her, so obviously I love her."
