Catch Me and Aitmatov, the last two winners of the Bar One Racing Hatton's Grace Hurdle, both line-up in Sunday's renewal at Fairyhouse.
Edward O'Grady's Catch Me returns to timber having started the season novice chasing, winning his first start before falling at the final fence at Navan last time.
Noel Meade's Aitmatov, impressive in winning the Lismullen Hurdle on his first outing this season, won the race in 2007.
Hardy Eustace, a dual Champion Hurdle winner in his prime, has his first start of the season just a few weeks before he turns 13.
Coral Cup winner Ninetieth Minute represents Tom Taaffe having finished third in the Lismullen, while Oscar Dan Dan runs for Tom Mullins.
His brother Willie runs Shakervilz while Healys Bar completes the field.
Hardy Eustace was third to Catch Me in this race 12 months ago and despite his advancing years, he has been pleasing his trainer Dessie Hughes.
"He's only run in it once before when he was third last year," said the County Kildare handler.
"Two and a half miles will suit him. He runs well first time - he did last year - and we're happy enough with him.
"He's ready, he's in good nick and he looks terrific. He's working nearly as good as ever, but at that age they won't be killing themselves."
Tom Mullins is expecting Oscar Dan Dan to acquit himself well after he fell at the second last in the Lismullen.
"I'd be very hopeful of a good run. He's in great form and it looks open enough. The favourite (Catch Me) was chasing this year up to now," said the County Kilkenny trainer.
"He was unlucky the last day when he fell at Navan. We think he's in great nick so we'll take a shot at it."
(reopens) Healys Bar is the youngest member of the seven-horse line-up at the age of five and was runner-up to Psycho at Punchestown on his latest start.
"We feel he's been unlucky a couple of times and we think he's definitely worth taking his chance," said trainer Oliver McKiernan's assistant Adrian Keatley.
"Hopefully with a bit of luck he'll be placed. It looks like a race that could be wide open. He's not been disgraced in any of his runs.
"He's had little things go wrong with him and he's a chaser in the making."
