Down The Man
Gosh, is it really 12 months since Mr Ord's last offering? Still no room for Tommo - quelle surprise? He wouldn't surely make anyone's top 100. Nick Luck - undoubted quality. Lucid, informed. R Hoiles - class swot, but far more popular than fellow anorak Jim McGrath. Alistair Down - for me, a God. Can carry off what Nick Luck can manage, but with a bit of Clive James at his brilliant best thrown in. Honourable mention for Tanya - not the slickest on camera, but absolutely gorgeous. Yes, I'm shallow. Get over it.

Where's Bob?
Have to agree with Nick Luck & Luscious Lydia, but no Robert Cooper - come on, the man's a star. His interview with Barney Curley was legendary. Matt Chapman deserves his place, if only for for his totally committed WRONG photo finish predictions. I would put Thommo in there. His enthusiasm knows no bounds & his hosting of the free Arab Day at Newbury, to a mostly non-racing crowd will always bring a few back. That can't be said of Leslie Graham & Jim McGrath, who make me reach for the off button quicker than Alastair Down can rattle off false prose.

Bryce rather nice!
Matt Chapman might not be everyone's cup of tea, but the enthusiasm he can inject into a dull Tuesday card is exactly what the sport needs in these times of 'Racing for Change'. The delectable Gina Bryce of At The Races is a shocking omission from this (or any) Top Ten.

Get Clare back!
I agree what David said about Clare Balding, with cracking racing last weekend, the BBC had her co- presenting the Lord Mayor's show, do you think Julian Wilson would have put up with that. The BBC has just about given up on horse racing. Give it all to channel 4 please.

Just About Right
An excellent top ten broadcasters would find it very difficult to disagree with you, what a lot of quality we have at present and I rate John Hunt very highly, but hard to disagree with you and your choice well done
