Sean Curran is mulling a crack at the Coral Welsh National with Iris De Balme as his stable star continues to build towards his comeback.
The nine-year-old was a shock winner of the Scottish National in 2008 before going on to finish fourth in the Betfred Gold Cup just a week later.
However, Iris De Balme has been sidelined by leg trouble since and Curran is hoping for a high-profile return.
He said: "He is back in work and will be back out around Christmas time.
"We might try him in the Welsh National and then go for the Rehearsal Chase and the Grand National itself."
