Midday is likely to attempt back-to-back victories in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf next year after her win in Santa Anita.
The three-year-old, who gave trainer Henry Cecil his first success in the series on Friday, is to remain in training in 2010.
"Midday has come out of the race well. Obviously we were very pleased with her. She did what we hoped she could do," said Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah.
"The plan is for her to stay in training at the moment and hopefully she will try to defend her crown next year."
Twice Over also ran a tremendous race in the same colours when third behind Zenyatta in the Breeders' Cup Classic on Saturday.
"Twice Over ran a really spectacular race," Grimthorpe went on.
"He was probably beaten by two very good horses, so we have to be very pleased with him and we will look to go to Dubai with him in March (for the World Cup)."
Grimthorpe reported Zacinto to be apparently none the worse after taking a bad step and being eased right down in the Breeders' Cup Mile.
"He's fine. Obviously we looked at him yesterday morning and he trotted up fine after the race," he added.
"He's on his way back but we will check him out a bit further. He too will stay in training."
