All eyes will be on Chepstow on Wednesday as Alan King's Glorious Goodwood winner Manyriverstocross makes his debut over timber in the Sunshine Radio Maiden Hurdle.
The four-year-old progressed throughout the summer and wound up his campaign by finishing second to Nanton in the Mallard Stakes at Doncaster.
Having missed an engagement at Exeter due to heavy ground, King hopes there is not much more rain in Wales.
"We are very keen to get Manyriverstocross started," said King.
"And while I would not run him in a bog, Chepstow are soft as against heavy - they only had three millimetres of rain on Monday, with possibly another two millimetres on its way.
"He has schooled well this month and Jamie Spencer always felt that he would appreciate a bit of cut.
"He is a classy recruit and could be quite exciting. He wasn't over busy on the Flat during the summer so we can't wait to see how he shapes," the Barbury Castle handler told his website.
