Jim Crowley will next year replace Seb Sanders as first-choice rider for Ralph Beckett.

Whitsbury-based Beckett's decision has been influenced by Sanders' commitments to Sir Mark Prescott.

The trainer told his website: "Seb Sanders has done a wonderful job for us but I felt I owed it to our owners to have a rider that we have first call on.

"Seb is loyal and would never leave Sir Mark Prescott, so Jim was the obvious choice.

"He has ridden a Group One winner this year and his profile continues on an upward curve.

"We look forward to a long-lasting relationship."

Sanders and Beckett teamed up to win the Oaks in 2008 aboard Look Here.
