Twice Over comes into Saturday's Coral-Eclipse in search of the first Group One success of his career.
Henry Cecil's four-year-old was beaten just a length in a thrilling renewal of the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot and Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager for owner Khalid Abdullah, is keeping his fingers crossed for the weekend.
"He ran a super race at Ascot and we thought he was just going to do it. He was really beaten very little in the end," said Grimthorpe.
"He deserves another chance at Group One level and obviously this is tough, but there is no such thing as an easy Group One.
"Physically he has done well since Ascot and we have been pleased with his work so it has been pretty straightforward.
"I don't think he will be inconvenienced if there was any rainfall and we have to be positive. I'm looking forward to it and it's going to be a good race."
