It is an excellent renewal of the totesport Mile and this is a race in which the draw tends to be very important and you really don't want a low number right on the outside.
Clive Cox's Dunno ran bravely at Sandown last time and as a front-runner would have had a good shout here but unfortunately he is in stall one and it will be a big ask to win from there.
The horse that I think looks the part is Royal Hunt Cup winner Invisible Man who is drawn well in stall 17 with Frankie Dettori on board.
The form of his Hunt Cup win looks pretty solid with runner-up Riggins far from disgraced on Tuesday at this meeting in a better class and third horse St Moritz winning the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket next time.
Invisible Man wears headgear and is possibly not the most straightforward but he is on the up and could develop into a Group horse.
If that is the case, then this handicap could be his for the taking.
Oasis Dancer has won two of his last three, while Mark Johnston usually has a strong representative in this race and Sea Lord goes for him.
Both carry just three-pound penalties and that is not too tough.
Acrostic heads the weights and he is invariably thereabouts in this type of event but if Invisible Man reproduces his form from the Royal meeting then he will take plenty of beating.
The other big race at Goodwood on Friday is the Group 2 Richmond Stakes and it features the July Stakes winner Libranno, whose form looks to be stacking up.
Richard Hannon's juveniles continue to fire on all cylinders this season and he looks like he will be a tough nut to crack with Richard Hughes in the saddle.
Marine Commando looks his biggest rival for Richard Fahey while Coventry third Roayh was a beaten favourite last time out.
Satin Love, The Long Game and The Paddyman have all won their races and now take a step up in class but Libranno is very much the one to beat.
