DOUBLE: Music Maestro and Kazbow.
Music Maestro has shown more than enough on his first three outings to suggest he is capable of getting off the mark in the Bet Melbourne Cup - Betdaq Maiden Stakes at Wolverhampton.
The fact that Barry Hills' juvenile has already been gelded suggests he has perhaps not always been straightforward, but he showed up well on his debut to finish sixth in a hot maiden at Glorious Goodwood.
Unsurprisingly he was strongly fancied for his next start at Thirsk and although he let down favourite backers, he was still only beaten half a length so it was not a poor display by any means.
You could almost see his stamina ebbing away when fourth over nine furlongs round here a few a weeks ago and dropped in trip, he will find few better opportunities than this to shed his maiden tag.
Luca Cumani's Kazbow had to settle for minor honours when well backed on his handicap debut but he can reward those who keep the faith in the Bet Champions League Football - Betdaq Handicap.
The son of Rainbow Quest showed precious little in maidens but clearly better was expected when sent off at 2-1 on his latest outing.
While it was disappointing he found a rather exposed rival too strong on the day, there is every chance he is still improving and this race will not take much winning.
There is some decent action over the sticks at Kempton and the bet of the day there appears to be Bouggler in the Pertemps Handicap Hurdle.
Emma Lavelle's youngster held his own at the highest level as a novice, winning at Kempton, landing a Grade Two at Aintree and finishing just eight lengths behind the brilliant Mikael D'Haguenet in a Grade One at Punchestown.
As that was only his third run over obstacles there should be plenty of improvement to come and a mark of 142 could yet prove lenient in the fullness of time.
Duc De Regniere looks a solid proposition on his return to chasing in the kempton.co.uk Graduation Chase.
Nicky Henderson's seven-year-old has always had a pretty tall reputation but initially failed to deliver it on the track.
However, after being sent back over hurdles last year following a less than exceptional novice chase season he finally delivered on his promise.
He won the Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury and ran well against the likes of Punchestowns, his stablemate, and Fiveforthree.
He will not have things all his own way against the likes of Pasco and Battlecry but a flat track may see him at his best.
The action at Plumpton is more low key but Gary Moore's Coin Of The Realm should take some beating in the attheraces.com Is Free Maiden Hurdle.
