Thursday's Market Movers:
Shaped like the experience was needed when well held on his Windsor debut.
Very solid in the market as he takes a drop in class after recent Chester second.
Money usually a telling sign with Mark Johnston's two-year-olds - this one has been really popular.
Excuses here last time (saddle slipped) and clearly expected to atone for that mishap.
Three-year-old gets plenty of weight from his elders and he's the pick of Joe Fanning.
Seemingly out of sorts but didn't run too badly at Ayr last time out.
Handicap newcomer who is clearly considered to be on a workable mark.
Vastly experienced campaigner who is competing off his lowest handicap mark for many a year.
Luca Cumani stable in good form and this unexposed four-year-old is partnered by Andrea Atzeni for the first time.
Lived up to her name the last twice and expect her to be flying home at the finish once again.
Today's Price Boosts:
A very open and competitive lady amateur riders' race over the Derby course and distance which was won last year by the Mick Easterby-trained Tapis Libre and the gelding looks to have been primed for a repeat performance so looks a hint of value at the current 9/1 after being as big as 12s last night.
He has been running on unsuitably soft ground recently but this has enabled his handicap mark to fall to 70 which is 5lb lower than last year’s winning mark of 75.
Miss Joanna Mason takes the ride and, as she has already been successful on the gelding twice, this must be an added advantage to his chance so he should go really well in an open contest.
