Rizeena tops Guineas entries
Ante-post favourite Rizeena heads a total of 26 fillies still in contention for the QIPCO 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.
Clive Brittain's Moyglare Stud Stakes tops a large field at the latest entry stage for Sunday's fillies' Classic with all of the leading contenders standing their ground.
The include the Moyglare second and third, Kiyoshi and Tapestry, with the latter one of only two entries from the powerful Aidan O'Brien stables. She could be joined by Bracelet who ran out an impressive winner of a Leopardstown trial on her reappearance.
My Titania could also make the journey from Ireland for trainer John Oxx while Balansiya could represent Dermot Weld.
Miss France and Vorda, both successful at Newmarket in the autumn, could represent France while Lucky Kristale, George Margarson's two-times Group Two winner, remains in the frame.
Godolphin can choose from Ihtimal, who won twice in Dubai for trainer Saeed bin Suroor earlier in the year, and the Charlie Appleby-trained Majeyda.
Owners Qatar Racing could also be double-handed with Kiyoshi joined by likely outsider Alutiq, who was beaten on all-weather finals day.
Trainer Eve Johnston Houghton said of Alutiq: "It's a possibility, but we will see what the owners want to do.
"She had a desperate draw (stall 14) at Lingfield last time. Only one of the first five was drawn in double figures and there weren't that many placed horse from high draws all afternoon, which I think speaks for itself."
The respective first five home in the Fred Darling - J Wonder, Al Thakhira, Joyeuse, Lady Lara and Manderley - all stand their ground.
Nell Gwyn first and second, Sandiva and the supplemented Euro Charline, could renew rivalry, while Amazing Maria is another leading fancy for Ed Dunlop.
