Quinn ace to Peak at Lingfield

A smart dual-purpose performer, he beat the classy Sametegal in a Grade Two juvenile hurdle at Doncaster just over a year ago and also made rapid progress back on the level in the summer.
Running in competitive 10- and 12-furlong handicaps, the Tiger Hill gelding was placed at Chester, Ayr and Doncaster, rising 11lb without winning.
He reappeared over timber in the ultra-tough Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham and plenty fancied him to run well but he was never really involved behind Dell' Arca.
Quinn obviously feels he is better off without hurdles in his way and, perhaps crucially, he has elected to use headgear for the first time with blinkers being applied.
He has a decent draw in stall six and Martin Lane is riding at the top of his game.
The step up to a mile and a quarter should suit John Gosden's Anglo Irish in the second division of the 32Red Maiden Stakes.
Third behind a stable companion over a mile on debut at Kempton, he looked just a tad one-paced and will be more suited to an even gallop at this trip.
The Great Gabrial will be more at home in the one-mile Ladbrokes Handicap than he was over seven furlongs last time out.
That was his first run for Alan McCabe having won over a mile on his final start for Ian Williams.
Dancing Art can show the benefit of a quiet reintroduction when running in the Straightline Construction Handicap Chase at Newcastle.
