Last month's Fighting Fifth Hurdle winner My Tent Or Yours has been confirmed on course for the William Hill Christmas Hurdle.

The Supreme Novices' Hurdle runner-up impressed when beating Grumeti at Newcastle and is likely to take the next step towards a possible tilt at the Champion Hurdle at Kempton.

He is reported to be in great order according to trainer Nicky Henderson's assistant Charlie Morlock who issued an upbeat bulletin concerning My Tent Or Yours on Monday.

"He's very very pacey," said Morlock. "Very pacey. I know everyone in the press makes a lot of fuss about how he pulls too hard, but he's a Flat-bred horse - he's by Desert Prince and related to Conduit and he's all about speed. But he relaxes in his races and he's a professional.

"I think he'll be very hard to beat. I think he'll come on a lot for the Newcastle run.

"He's quite a different type of horse to The New One. My Tent Or Yours is essentially a cast-off from the Flat and he has that speed. I like The New One, he's a hell of a horse, but does he have that speed? Was Rock On Ruby really at his best at Kempton last time out? On that Kempton run, I'd still rather be in the My Tent Or Yours camp.

"I've never seen him off the bridle at home and we've got a few who can go a bit."

Paul Nicholls said his only possible contender for the Christmas Hurdle was Sametegal but added "he might well go for the Ladbroke".
