Wilshire Boulevard and Saayerr are among a competitive field of eight for Saturday's Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Gimcrack Stakes at York.

The former, trained by Aidan O'Brien, took a little while to learn his trade but stepped up to the plate in the Group Three Anglesey Stakes at the Curragh last time.

Saayerr would be attempting to continue what has already been a fine season for trainer William Haggas, and he must again take on Cable Bay, who pushed him pretty hard in the Richmond Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.

Last year's winning trainer Kevin Ryan fields Astaire to follow in the hoofprints of Blaine, and he has course form already having taken a Knavesmire maiden on his debut.

Parbold, placed in the Coventry and Vintage Stakes, represents Richard Fahey with Justice Day and My Catch, twice a winner in France for David Brown, making up the line-up.
