Timeform: Sprinter one of the best
Timeform have given Sprinter Sacre a provisional rating of 192p for his winning performance in the Champion Chase at Cheltenham on Wednesday.

If that rating is confirmed, Sprinter Sacre, who went into the race with a Timeform rating of 183p, would become the highest-rated horse since the firm's Chasers & Hurdlers series began in 1975/6 - moving him ahead of the likes of Moscow Flyer, Desert Orchid and Kauto Star.
Indeed, the Irish-trained superstars of the 1960s, Arkle and Flyingbolt, are the only ones to have achieved a higher rating in Timeform's sixty-five year history.
That's not the end of it, however, as Nicky Henderson's star chaser still retains the Timeform 'p', signifying the likelihood of more still to come.
Timeform's Jumps Handicapper, Phil Turner, commented: "The race unfolded just how everyone hoped it would and the fact that Sprinter Sacre could win just as easily as when taking on lesser opposition merely illustrates how freakishly good he is.
"There is little reason to doubt that Sizing Europe is every bit as good as ever this season and, although he tired a bit at the death, it's reasonable to assume that he's run somewhere near his rating.
"In addition, third-placed Wishfull Thinking has won two decent prizes this season and was ridden to get the best out of him here in ignoring the pace-setters.
"All in all, it's hard to pick holes in this form and Sprinter Sacre deserves all the plaudits heading his way!"
