The trainer might have expected to get off the mark in the opening Winning Fair Juvenile Hurdle but evens favourite Dogora could finish only second.
However, Glens Melody (4/6 favourite) stepped up to the mark with a stylish verdict in the ITBA Fillies Scheme Novice Hurdle to equal the previous record tally.
Paul Townend always looked confident aboard the market leader and she took it up from stablemate Tasitiocht coming down to the last, with only Byerley Babe setting out in pursuit.
Her efforts proved fruitless though as Townend had plenty in hand aboard Glens Melody to run out a comfortable winner and give Mullins another landmark success.
And little more than half an hour later, the record was gone as 6/1 chance Away We Go took the Attheraces.com Handicap Hurdle under Townend.

"We had a lot of winners with horses that we would have usually thrown out to grass as the ground stayed in their favour.
"The horses are just in form. Hopefully they can stay like that for another few weeks."
