After riding three winners last weekend things are going well and I'm hopeful of adding to my seasonal tally again on Sunday when I ride BALLYCULLA at Towcester.

This fellow has been a huge price on his last three outings but ran a blinder behind Nicky Henderson's smart novice Chatterbox last time so he won't go off at big odds in the Haygain Hay Steamers Clean Healthy Forage Novices' Hurdle.

He shouldn't do anyway judging by the piece of work he did underneath me on Thursday. This could be a drop in grade for him going on his Chatterbox form and I'm expecting a good run.

Reflecting on last Saturday's double, my pre-race opinion of Two Rockers was justified and he's a really nice sort with plenty of potential.

He is progressing very well and has improved a lot as the first time he beat Emma Lavelle's Shotgun Paddy he was receiving six pounds and this time he gave that horse four pounds.

He travelled and jumped well and has won cosily in the end and although he stays three miles, he is not short of pace and would not mind a drop back in distance.

He handles wet conditions and has not encountered drier ground so that would be a bit of an unknown. He is entered in the Neptune Investment Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham but what you have to remember is that he is a big chasing type and we won't see the best of him until he goes over fences. Whatever he does now is a bonus and we don't want to spoil him.

I won on Cloudy Too for Sue Smith also and he is an improving type as well. He overcame an eight-pound rise in the weights, relished the conditions and should get three miles. Hopefully there will be more to come from him as his confidence is up at the moment.

Finally, two horses I've recently ridden to consider in the future are Hold On Julio and Crystal Swing.

Firstly, Hold On Julio is set to run in the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham after he performed well in fifth at Haydock last Saturday. He will improve on some better ground and also a stiffer test over three miles as Haydock is quite sharp.

And secondly, Crystal Swing was really impressive in the closing handicap hurdle at Huntingdon on Thursday. The penny has now started to drop as he used to be too keen and he has also been helped by a cross noseband on his last two starts which means he has been able to settle much better.

Talking to trainer Richard Phillips afterwards, he said he is not really the type to turn out again quickly under a penalty so it will be a case of taking the hike in the weights.

But his confidence has come now and he is going the right way.
