Johnson given key BHA role
Paul Johnson has been appointed as head of racing development by the British Horseracing Authority, effective from the start of April.

Johnson is currently racing executive for the Racecourse Association, where he has worked for the last two years, with his previous employers including Procter and Gamble UK and Ladbrokes.
He said: "As someone with a love of racing I'm very much looking forward to joining the team at BHA and contributing to the work that is done at the heart of the sport.
"I've had two very enjoyable years at the RCA and I'm obviously sad to be leaving colleagues here but the opportunity to work for the wider industry is a fantastic one and is something I'm very excited about."
