Tip of the Day: Evergreen can be no.1
Our Will Hayler confidently expects Evergreen Forest to reverse form with Asia Minor at Kempton today.

Evergreen Forest left some burnt fingers behind when beaten by Asia Minor at Kempton last time, but looks a good bet to recoup those losses when he returns to the track today.
Strongly supported with the blinkers back on for the first time in a while, he travelled well behind a fast early pace before striking for home two furlongs out, only to find the patiently-ridden Asia Minor mowing him dowm late on.
However apprentice Ryan Clark was guilty of riding him too close to an unsustainably quick gallop in that contest and he deserves considerable credit for going as close to victory as he did - early leader Sovento was still clinging on to the lead with 100 yards to run, but ended up out of the frame such was the effect of his exertions.
You can see the race for yourself here.
I have some reservations about whether the headgear will prove quite as effective second time round, but none as to whether his chance is better than his 4/1 odds suggest.
