The original seven-race programme will go ahead as scheduled after the hurdles track was found to be fit for racing after just three millimetres of overnight rain.
A provisional all-chase card had been formulated as back-up, but this will no longer be necessary.
Andrew Cooper, Sandown head of racing and clerk of the course, said: "We measured around 3.5mm of overnight rain, which was right at the bottom end of what we were expecting.
"It looks as though the weather has now cleared, and there does not look like being much more rain.
"It's obviously going to be very testing, but our first priority was to get the hurdles races on.
"That said, I'd very much like to thank the owners and trainers who supported the three additional chases on the back-up card.
"Their efforts are most appreciated."
