This afternoon's meeting at Kelso has passed an early-morning course inspection.

Racing goes ahead at the Scottish venue after six millimetres of snow and rain fell within the last 24 hours.

Clerk of the course Hazel Peplinski tweeted: "Good news! Kelso Racecourse passes the precautionary inspection.

"Racing goes ahead. Going is now heavy after 6mm snow/rain."

The fixture features the BetVictor Morebattle Hurdle.

Also clear to race is the Irish fixture at Thurles with the all-chase card deemed fine to go ahead despite 5.5mm of overnight rain. The going is also heavy.
