15:15 Huntingdon Zamdy Man 11/4 from 9/2
With her string in fine form, another Venetia Williams horse is unsurprisingly the subject of good support this afternoon. The lightly raced Zamdy Man has only had one outing over hurdles when fifth in the Future Champions Hurdle at Chepstow last month. Rated 84 on the flat, the gelding should have a good deal more to give, and can win this before going on to bigger and better things.

15:25 Taunton Tarabela 7/2 from 14/1
Not one of the best races of the bay, but possibly the biggest gamble, with the ten-year-old Tarabella now vying for favouritism having been double figures early doors. Well-handicapped on old form when trained by Gerald Ham, the Kayf Tara mare will love today's heavy ground and is fitted with a tongue tie on debut for Kevin Bishop, who interestingly also trains the paper favourite.

18:35 Wolverhampton Silver Six Lane 8/1 from 25/1
Another big mover is Silver Six Line in the 18:35 at Wolver. Formerly trained in Ireland when a winner of four races, the five-year-old has struggled since joining Derek Shaw last Autumn, but he finds himself nicely handicapped as a consequence. Interestingly today's money arrives with the application of a first time visor - three of the gelding's four victories came with the aide of headgear.
