Donald McCain's Champion Hurdle runner-up was denied a run at Doncaster last weekend by the weather. His trainer has also entered Desert Cry, Super Duty and Kie.

Lucinda Russell has entered the promising Tap Night, a good winner on his chasing debut at Ayr.

In the same JP McManus ownership is the Charlie Longsdon-trained Vulcanite, while Nicky Henderson could run Tetlami or Malt Master.

Paul Nicholls has entered There's No Panic and Grandioso with Viva Colonia, Fourjacks and Attaglance all possibles.

John Quinn's Kashmir Peak is among 16 contenders for the John Smith's Scottish Triumph Hurdle Trial, with David Pipe's prolific Home Run featuring in the 21 entries for the Scottish County Hurdle.

However Overturn could well end up with a choice of engagements at the meeting now that an extra race has been added to the card by the British Horseracing Authority following recent abandonments - a Class 3 two-mile novice chase which will be run as the Scottish Arkle Trial. Entries are to close at noon on Tuesday.
