The frost covers are down at the Berkshire circuit and clerk of the course Richard Osgood is confident racing will go ahead, but he feels it is sensible to check on conditions in the morning.
Osgood said: "We'll have a precautionary inspection at 9am, just in case there are any problems.
"We have the entire racing surface covered at the moment and I don't think there will be any problems at this stage, but temperatures are due to get down to minus 3C or minus 4C tonight.
"You can never quite trust those temperatures, so we'll have a look in the morning.
"At the moment I'm confident we'll be racing."
