Wednesday's jumps meeting at Newcastle has been abandoned due to snow.

The track is reported to be covered by two inches of snow with further snow possible today and a harsh frost expected tonight.
Clerk of the course James Armstrong tweeted: "Racing @Newcastleraces has been ABANDONED due to SNOW. 2" covering the track, still snowing, more to come. Temps this eve to drop to -5/-6c."
