Snow threatens Newcastle card
Newcastle's meeting on Wednesday must survive an 8am inspection on Tuesday morning, with the course partially covered in snow.

The track is currently unraceable and more snow is forecast in the next 24 hours.
Compounding matters is the fact that temperatures could drop as low as -4C on Tuesday evening.
Clerk of the course James Armstrong said: "We've had a couple of hours of fairly heavy snow today, but it's wet and I'm not expecting it to hang around. It is not forecast to be very cold tonight, but we are worried about minus-four tomorrow night.
"We want to make people aware the inspection may be inconclusive when we look at eight tomorrow morning and we may have to look again on raceday. If it's not snow, it could be waterlogging from the snow. And if it's not waterlogging, it could be frost."
