Sounding a Voice warning

Our gallops reporter is back at Lambourn, looking at some of Nicky Henderson's forthcoming runners.

Forgotten Voice: In good heart

FORGOTTEN VOICE looks set to be unveiled at Kempton on Saturday and the former Royal Hunt Cup winner looked in good heart engaging in a couple of routine canters on the main all-weather at Seven Barrows.

The Paul Roy-owned eight-year-old makes his handicap hurdle debut and should appreciate the better ground at the Sunbury venue.

All attempts to bring him back earlier in the campaign have been thwarted by testing going.

Nicky Henderson has BEAR'S AFFAIR and OSCARA DARA limbering up for the Lanzarote Hurdle and is pleased with both horses.

Jerry McGrath, who also rides Forgotten Voice, will take 5lb off the back of Bear's Affair, who looks to have done well since his resounding comeback victory at Aintree.

OSCARA DARA is not the most natural jumper of fences and that is one reason why connections are switching his attention back to hurdling.

He did nothing wrong when running Cantlow close at Plumpton, but has to be a menace to all in tomorrow's feature, with Barry Geraghty booked.

Both horses looked well in themselves cantering up the strip.

TETLAMI has looked an absolute natural in his schooling and faces just two opponents in the novice chase on the same card.

He was highly tried after winning his first three outings last season but has always promised to be the real deal over fences.

ALEXANDRE SIX is another fancied runner from the Henderson academy on Saturday and should go well in the juvenile hurdle, having worked and schooled well.
