Clerk of the course James Armstrong reports the track to be unraceable at present and admits plenty of improvement is needed before the weekend.
He said: "We are still unraceable. We have had 37 millimetres of rain since Christmas Eve and we had to abandon our last meeting on December 22.
"We are very similar where we were then and although we've had the benefit of a couple of dry days, it needs to improve."
Armstrong later tweeted: "We will be omitting x3 fences (cross fence, ditch in back & Fence 7) and at least 1 hurdle to give the meeting every chance."
