Trained in Wales by Rebecca Curtis, Teaforthree won the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival and was sixth to Bobs Worth in the Hennessy Gold Cup on his latest start.

Giles Cross, runner-up in the last two renewals of this race, could try to make it third-time lucky for Victor Dartnall.

Nigel Twiston-Davies has left in both the well-fancied Viking Blond and Major Malarkey while Paul Nicholls is double-handed with Michel Le Bon and Royal Charm.

David Pipe has two likely sorts in Master Overseer and Sona Sasta, who both have 4lb penalties for recent victories.

Quartz de Thaix, runner-up to Master Overseer at Cheltenham, is one of two possibles from the Venetia Williams stable along with 2009 Grand National hero Mon Mome.

The weights will go up after Donald McCain's Across The Bay, who was on 10st 13lb, was left at the top of the list.
