New Year's options for Unioniste
Paul Nicholls has given his exciting novice Unioniste two options at Cheltenham on New Year's Day.

The grey, owned by John Hales, was an easy winner of the Paul Stewart Ironspine Charity Challenge Gold Cup earlier in the month and is set for a return to Prestbury Park.
He holds entries in the Cheltenham Pony Club Raceday Novices' Chase, better known as the Dipper where a clash with Captain Conan would be on the cards, and also the BetVictor.com Chase.

"I might run him in the novice race at Cheltenham, but he's also in the handicap, so we'll wait and see," said Nicholls.
"I do want to give him a break before the Festival, but it could be an idea to get one more run into him."
