Tweedledrum (16/1) scrambled home in the william Hill - New iPad App Mares' Handicap Hurdle at Kempton.

It looked for much of the contest as though the gambled on Swincombe Flame would land a touch but the favourite and eventual third didn't see out the three mile trip as well the first two home as she weakened into third.

Tweedledrum had moved up onto her shoulder on the turn into the home straight and it looked all over bar the shouting when Ben Poste asked her to go about her work.

She jumped the last about five lengths clear but Jason Maguire conjured another run out of Silver Gypsy and supporters of the winners would have had their hearts in their mouths in the closing stages.

However, the line came in time for Tom Symonds' mare who recorded her second successive success despite racing from 10lbs out of the handicap.

"She was my first runner as a trainer, I couldn't win with her last year but she's repaying me in spades," said Herefordshire-based Symonds.

"She's been very hard to figure out and she does need this ground, so we will have to keep trying to make hay while the rain falls."

Mister Hyde (4/1) has put in a few performances more in keeping with Dr Jekyll but Jonjo O'Neill's charge put his best foot forwards in the William Hill - No.1 Downloaded Betting App Handicap Chase.

The field were closely grouped for much of the three mile contest which was run at a crawl but they were well strung out at the line as Jason Maguire's mount drew readily clear from Sizing Santiago in the straight.

It was a third win in four starts for the seven year old with the first coming in blinkers and the others in a visor.

Maguire completed a double on the card with an unlikely looking victory in the closing Download The William Hill App Handicap Hurdle.

Bourne (9/1) was under pressure from a long way out and still had Ivor's King and Dildar in front of him at the final flight.

Donald McCain's charge was sloppy at that obstacle but rallied gamely on the short run to the line to collar Dildar in the shadow of the post.
