Big move for Glam Gerry

Andrew Wootton with today's market movers from the Sky Bet trading room at Kempton and Leopardstown.

Swimcombe Flame: Well backed at Kempton

1.30 Kemtpton - Swincombe Flame 3/1 from 4/1
Nick Williams' mare shot through the handicap ranks last season which culminated in a win in the Lanzarote and a subsequent second placed effort in a Cheltenham Listed hurdle. This season things haven't gone to plan with the switch to fences, where her jumping has let her down badly, but she is arguably still fairly well treated over the smaller obstacles. The ground will pose no threats at all to her and the only negative seems to be that she is unproven over the trip.

3.10 Leopardstown - Glam Gerry 11/2 form 9/1
Glam Gerry comes to Leopardstown on the back of a fine staying on effort in the Racing Post Hurdle at Cheltenham and has been strongly backed despite the highly competitive nature of this race. Colm Murphy's eight-year-old does look a progressive sort; he won at last year's meeting and has put some sterling efforts in since, including a fine third at the Cheltenham Festival. If he can revert his form to the bigger obstacles then he holds a leading chance.

3.45 Kempton - Dildar 7/2 from 4/1
At one point last season Dildar headed the market for the Triumph hurdle but didn't live up to that tag. He has been allotted a mark of 124 for his handicap debut, which Paul Nicholls has described as a fair mark, and if his reported breathing operation assists him then he shouldn't be far away. His trainer has reported that he is a hard horse to get fit but, if he is ready for this, then he could be a well-handicapped horse.
